iPhone X Launch

at eBay

The Story

Probably my favorite project at eBay to date: the launch of the iPhone X coupon landing page.

Why is this so important to me? As a longtime Apple fanboy, getting the chance to collaborate with the Hard Goods team (aka the Electronics vertical) was a refreshing change from my usual focus on the Home & Garden category.

Don’t get me wrong—I love Home & Garden. I'm genuinely passionate about all things H&G, especially since I'm always diving into a new home improvement project. But tech is another category I’m deeply into, and when you’re passionate about something, you’re naturally inspired to create great work. Apple, in particular, is a brand that constantly sparks that inspiration in me (or maybe that’s just me?).

For this campaign, our design leads pulled together a crew of talented designers, copywriters, and photographers to bring the promotion to life. Since Apple  keeps product details tightly under wraps until just a week or two before launch, it became a fast-moving, highly collaborative effort. We worked closely across copy, photography, and web development to make sure everything—from graphics to page flips—launched right on time.

Set to go live the weekend of the iPhone X release, the promotion offered 50% off accessories with the purchase of the iPhone X (and other smartphones over $150).

I led the design of several email assets, homepage creatives, and assembled the landing page that showcased the promo. It was a challenging yet exciting project—and a real honor to be selected for such an impactful launch. We went live without a hitch and successfully drove traffic and engagement.

Below are a few featured graphics from the campaign.
